Fénix ​​festival is the culmination of Cenizas, our balfolk residency.
Fénix is a unique opportunity to receive training from more than 12 Balfolk teachers from different places in Europe after having worked together for a week to improve dancing and pedagogical skills to offer quality training. But it is also a great place to have fun, meet many international dancers and make beautiful connnections.
Fénix is ​​a festival to fly, to learn, to have fun and to dance with very experienced dancers around the balfolk international comunity.

Balfolk is the contemporary face of traditional dances, the necessary change that followed the disruption of the pillars of the old rural and urban societies. And it is still changing, but how​

Two days of intensive workshops, one concert per night, a nice festival more training than concert-oriented. A gathering in a beautiful place, a full immersion into nature and dance.​

Cenizas means "ashes", we wish to be the Phoenix starting its journey, again and again, in a circle that embraces all of us, and goes beyond each one of us.

We'll share the results of one week of work, some workshops will be brought from home, some others are going to be built during the residency. You will be able to choose up to 4 workshops between the 12 proposed in the next page. Choose the one you like the most, embrace them fully, enjoy!
